Default New guy from NYC

got banned on clubricer, so I figured I'd check this place out...

2004 MSM, I think its #1539. The HIDs aren't actually blue, just my crappy phone camera made it that way.

Are you the megasquirt guru Brain?

If so, I got like a millioin +1 questions. Really wished megasquirt was better documented on the MSM. But its really crappy, only one guy documented his MS2 experiences, and it was with a custom modified boom-slang parallel harness. Not easy to replicate. Not to mention, the guy's MSM has been down for almost a year now I bet, he was having injector issues last I spoke to him.

A well documented MS guide on the msm would be pretty exclusive to the forums

LOL at getting banned over in ricerland.

Brain is a MS guru.

Welcome to the site! Enjoy your stay.

That car looks great with a roll bar.

Yea, apparently its thread crapping if you call someone a queer for being obsessed with what colors can go together and what can't. Then again, sooner or later I would've been banned for not having enough poke, or stretch, or whack offset.

After one roll bar install, I swore I'd never do it again.

Yea, but roll bars look so SRS BUSINESS, that every ricer tries to race you. Doesn't help all they know to do is instigate on the highway, and try to do a loser style from a roll race. Which miatas are really bad at, especially msm with 4.1 gears + 6500 redline, not to mention poor aerodynamics for up top. Even with the power weight ratio on my side, I find myself losing to most performance cars. From a dig its a little better, rwd way easier to launch consistently than fwd or even awd.

Also, the seatbelt is never the same no matter what I do, I shaved and re-shaped the plastic trim lots, and installed the boss frog belt guides. It's gotten better, but just doesn't feel as effective as stock. So I'm considering buckets, harness bar, and harness, just don't know if it'll be worth it, or just too much a PITA? I do need to be at least an inch lower though, I can't pass broom stick test even with lots of slouching. But again, only autox'ing.

I don't mind my harnesses. Although personally I think cam locks are a must. Quick to get out and easy to get in. It's always interesting when I have girls in my car for the first time too.

My club ricer ban was supposed to come off today. I started browsing one thread, and before I had a chance to even make a single post, I got banned another 2 weeks LOL
