New to anything not Euro
Hey guys, brand new to the whole 'JDM', non-Euro car scene and type.
I come from a rich background in old school VW ( I own a 1988 Jetta GL gas motor with 600k miles, and a 1986 Scirocco 16v ) and newer VW/Audi (08' GTI, tons of power at the wheels ). I decided to get something fun and sporty, picked up my very first Miata. 1996 Mx-5, 112k miles, has some body damage but nothing serious. $1100 so I couldn't go wrong.
I look forward to soaking up as much info as possible, and helping where I can.
Look forward to conversing and possibly meeting up with you guys!
NC living, but Philly born!

I have a buddy that just dragged off a Miata with useable doors. It's gone now. What are your plans for the car? If you plan to take it to some open track days for street cars, I'm headed to Road Atlanta in September and can give you pointers for preparation.
It's good you got a '94-up car because they have the bigger engine, rear diff, brakes, etc. Welcome.
