Just picked up my new miata in New Hampshire
Hey guys, long story short i had an 08 nissan 350z that was recently stolen from my driveway and totaled. The insurance payed the loan off on the car and i took the opportunity to get a car i have always had a deep interest in and picked up my 92 miata. I live in New hampshire and i think the car is pretty well known in the area. This is the most fun car i have ever driven and it amazes me more and more everyday and gets attention everywhere it goes. Looking to get into the miata bizz, the plan is to go turbo asap since im working with a super clean motor.
this is the Z that was stolen from me
and here's my new miata!

I'm just saying, a turbo 1.6 is fun as well. I'm making 200hp with a greddy kit, td-04h making 12psi. It's fun to drive, but I'm going to build a 1.8 for 350hp soon.

wow im already loving how supportive you guys are, the Z forums are FULL of sarcasm and comments that are just immature, well right now this one is a hand full, it needs a couple wheel bearings, a master cyl, and the dash was swapped from an nb and i hate it, dumbest thing ever so im swapping it back, at the same time something is telling me to just do the required maint. and say screw cosmetics and just build a nasty motor, i should probably try to pick up a cheap 1.8 eh?

Also could you guys maybe link me to some vendor sites? the z forum had a vendor section but im having trouble finding it on this forum. i basically am not sure where to look for anything yet lol

Not necessarily sponsors on this particular forum, but it's a pretty comprehensive list of Miata based vendors.

For factory parts, I recommend Rosenthal Mazda. They have pretty much everything you will need as far as stock stuff. Choose their cheapest shipping rate if you do buy stuff from them, it will get to your house in the same amount of time. Onlinemazdaparts.com is pretty awesome too.
I wanted to do the NB dash conversion for a while, but the more I looked at it the more I like the 94-97 dash. I'm waiting to find one in good shape to swap into my 92.
For the hardtop, just keep your eyes peeled on craigslist. Plan on about a 800 to a grand for one, but if you're diligent you may be able to find one for cheap. About once a year I hear a story about someone who picked up a hardtop for >$500.
For the front lip, check ebay. There is a replica of the factory R lip and the Garage Vary lip that can be had for about 80 shipped, and fitment is pretty good.
