Just got my 06 NC totalled, got an 08, retractable hard top
Hi,
I am new to the forum, had a great 06 NC hardtop with a 6 speed paddle shift, but the PO had done some great work to the suspension and it handled fantastic. With the insurance money, I picked up a low mileage 08 retractable hard top with a 6 speed paddle shift, but it has stock suspension and does not have that race car feel of the 06, how should I use the forum to find suspension mods for my 08 without upsetting folks for being naive
Thanks

You are in luck. This isn't a USE THE SEARCH hater forum like the rest. Furthermore, there aren't as many NC on here.
From what I have heard, the OEM suspension on the NC's is pretty weak sauce and not very sporty. I know you can get the Tokico Shocks and FM springs to firm her up. GRM also built up a sweet STR Class 2010 NC that you can learn a lot from:

Thanks for the input, been gone for a while, but am back in So Cal. Living in a small apartment I dont have any place to work on my MX-5. Can anyone suggest an Orange County or Los Angeles shop that understands MX-5 suspension work where I could get it sorted?
Any input is appreciated.
Cheers,
