First time Miata owner / Audi transplant!
Greetings from the Chicago burbs!
Long time car enthusiast and Audi fanatic. Long story short, I was in the market for a Stage 3 S4 when out of nowhere did a 180 and decided to pick up a 99 mx5 for $6700! ( right before winter too...wtf?) Truth be told I have always wanted an MX5 for fun ..especially the green/tan combo. When I found this one I could not pass it up. I'm still getting a Stage 3 S4 maybe in the spring
For the last 3 days it has been a complete blast to drive. Here are the specs..
99 MX5 Special Edition. I have a trunk rack and some other goodies like the NT steering wheel.
5 Speed
Just rolled 60K miles
Mechanically perfect
ZERO rust anywhere. It was garaged all its life and it has never seen a winter.
The car is absolutely mint!!
Where do I plan to go with this? Frankly I don't know yet. I will probably have a better gauge on things once I own it for a little while.
As a boost addict though, I think I have an idea what is coming down the road..
Here are the pics.. ( I will get more up as soon as i can detail it...its been raining here in the last few days...argggg)

NICE, I too owned an S4. B6 here. I've had an B6 S4 and 4.2 A6. You don't want to buy an Audi. They are like super model girl friends. Fun to take for a ride and ride hard as well as be seen in public with, but WAY too expensive to own. I knew my service manager by his middle name.
As another NB owner welcome and jealous that yours has never seen the winter! Welcome from the North Burbs! I actually work in Lombard down by you (when I actually go to the office that is).
