Timing belt on a low mile NB
#2
I wouldn't, what would likely force you to replace the timing belt earlier is the water pump that is sitting underneath. Depending on how well the car was maintained, and if the antifreeze was changed periodically to protect it, shouldn't be an issue.
The engine is non-interference, so if the timing belt breaks, you'll just get stranded, but it won't damage the engine.

Thanks Redcap. I knew about the non interference part. I was concerned about age related deterioration. Apparently that is not an issue. The car has been meticulously maintained. It still smells new.
