Default How much to change out the wheels and rims on my 2002 Miata.

Hi, I am new here. I have only had my Miata for a few weeks but I absolutely love it...so much fun and just an awesome car. I want to make a few changes to my car. the first change has got to be custom tires and rims. I need some suggestions on where to get these at a good price and about how much this is going to cost. I figure around $800.00 if not more. I don't want something over the top just a really nice set of wheels to give my car a lot of edginess.. thanks so much for your help...

I would start here: Miata Wheels and Tires - Mazda Performance Parts

Keep scrolling down for more options. It is very important with the Miata to keep the wheels lightweight or the car looses its sportiness and rides really poorly. GoodWin Racing has lots of options in the proper offset spacing (also very important) for a Miata fitment.

Default Wheels and tires

As was stated earlier try and keep the weight of each wheel low. Shoot for 11-13 lbs per wheel or lower. Goodwin Racing is as stated sa great source.

800 is a bit low for tires and wheels unless you buy one or both used.
