Electrical problem
I have a 99 that has suddenly developed a no-start condition, does not crank over at all. Battery is good, lights, wipers, radio, etc. all work. Clutch safety switch is operating as it should. There is no power to the black w/red wire on the starter solenoid when in the key is in the start position. The wiring diagram I found on this site does not show this wire so my question is does anyone know where this wire goes to? It's the wire that engages the solenoid to spin the starter. When I jump from the hot lead from the battery to this post the starter spins so the key is to find out where this black w/red wire gets its power from. Thank you in advance for the help!!!
