Default 3.9 Torsen in a 5SPD Naturally Aspirated

Got a 3.9 to throw in the *** end after I went turbo. Changing my mind on turbo and now I wonder if this 3.9 will be a dog with my 5 spd and no Turbo.

meh...what power do you plan to put down? What is your intended application? If you are going to be street mostly, I would say put that ---- in. You will get better highway mileage for sure.

It's not going to see as much street action going forward. I intend to stay NA powered as I've found another way to supplement my need for power. If I really need more power, I'll track something faster. I think 3.9 will hurt me at the track. Mid Ohio and Road America have the longest straights and in theory I can go faster with this rear end. But, with my pathetic 109 RWP, I won't see those highers speeds before i run out of runway.

It's a diff from a wrecked Southern Car. It's in great condition. I'm sure some fool will want my 3.9 for their 4.3. Nobody wants their 4.3 Torsen that goes Turbo

On a side note, know anybody that wants to trade an Apexi Power FC EMS for an unused MegaSquirt MS3x and harnesses?

not sure, but you can probably sell it off at MT I am sure!

I would definitely not run a 3.9 in a 5-speed on stock power on track.

Tadd, it's not for sale yet, so don't fret. It will sit in my dining room till either A. The Wife threatens me to get it out. B. I decide to throw it in there for kicks C. Happen upon a 6-SPD and put both in, D. Someone takes this off my hands.
