Default 02 LS2 Bossfrog Conversion from v8miata.net

ORIGINAL THREAD

so the swap is well under way! i have ordered all the parts, only thing im waiting on is the valve covers, here are some basic shots of the k-member in place, we have cut the notches and test fitted the LS2, she will be up and running here in the next few weeks!

not much but ill take more soon (my c5's drive shaft took a dump on me last week so ive been working on that)

the steering shaft needs to be modified still, i could send it in however i have plenty of material and a tig welder to do so... so no worries

and there it is prior...

here are the specs

LS2
VRX 6 Cam
Fast 90 intake

Proshifted T56 (straight cut gears)

Stock Miata LS rear end with a torsen and 3.91 gears

i may swap the rear end eventually for the 8.8 that i actually have on hand along with the boss frog frame, but i want to see how the stocker does first

.

Nice, but swap in the 8.8 and sell the torsen before you blow the rear end. You save some money and make some Miata owner very happy.

That's going to be a lot of fun. I've ridden in one, the power is so smooth!
