Default Picked up my new baby 89' (Aussie)

Very excited to have collected my "new" car! She's an 89' crystal white Eunos... But I better give some back ground first.

Well, yes, I'm 16 years old and have been obsessed with cars from a young age. Admittedly, with an epic, hard working single mum for many years I was hard pressed to actually work on cars or even see them up close. I began working at the ripe age of thirteen and while I was still fourteen, I managed to afford my first car which was nothing special haha! Nonetheless, with guidance from my step father, I learnt a bit of the lingo... the car was really my guinea pig, with a lot of the stuff I know now having been learnt from it.

The car mag collection was getting out of hand, so I decided to go through and collect "how to's" and other useful stuff when I came across an article on the Mx5 (Miata)...

And it was set like concrete, there were two cars I dreamed of owning and to achieve them would smash down some personal barriers for me and allow me to do what I always wanted to do !

It took soooooo much convincing, but on the 27th of June this year, I parked this little fella in the driveway at home, $7,250 poorer and grinning like mad :P

Specs and details:

Well she has 129,000km's on the odo, full respray, new seals and brake pads in april, time belt done properly (phew), new soft top installed last winter, minimal rust and a lot of it remains original. Elec windows and cloth seats, and thats all for options I believe haha.

Mods include: garage vary lip (unistalled), mazdaspeed "rollbar" with black padding, custom muffler with matte black dolphin tip (love the look), NB Mx5 rims, yellow speed fully adjustable coil overs (currently has 14cm of clearance under the front) and i'v done a custom DIY antenna delete.

This car means so much to me and

I love driving it. Obviously being young, I have many plans for it, but they all cost money, so time will tell how it ends up currently doing the window fix and washing it constantly haha. Thanks for viewing

Greatest regards, from your friendly neighbourhood petrol head, Ty

Don't thrash it like a rented mule, because the earlier cars had weak rear differentials that commonly broke if abused.

Pretty clean car you have there! Welcome to the forum.

I'm not one for burnouts, flat shifting and all that drive train abusive stuff. I prefer the back roads and transitioning smoothly from one corner to the next, within the law (yea I know, goody two shoes)
