Installation of a new exhaust muffler
After some consideration I have decided to upgrade my muffler/catback pipe to a Racing Beat system. My question is this, what if anything should I be aware of prior to tackling what appears to be a fairly simple task? I have the WD-40, floor jack, floor stands and tool box at the ready so chime in folks with any words of wisdom BEFORE I start the work.

New Racing Beat Muffler IS Installed!
After really soaking all of the connection with WD 40 I got this project underway. Took me about two and a half hours and one sliced finger but it is done! The main issues were the hard to get to O2 sensor. After getting that "unwound" from its' location things went along pretty smooth. The OEM pipe ha a small heat shield attached with twp small bolts and one spot weld. The new pipe is stainless steel and a larger diameter, so that shield would never fit. I am hoping (praying) that it will not be needed because of the stainless. The rubber grommets were still OK so I used them.
Special Note: when remove the 02 sensor be ready to "unwind" it as you unscrew it from the mounting point. Be sure you wind it up in the opposite direction when screwing it back into the new pipe. That gave me a headache when I was putting things back together.)
The heavy use of WD40 is highly recommended plus using antl-seaze on all threads.
All in all a fairly simple job and the new deeper sound is great!
