Default 94 Speedometer Issue

On my 1994 Miata the speedo is not working. Everything else on the instrument panel is working. If this an actual cable or is it electronic? Any info would be great.

It's a cable, but on the good side it is cheap and easy to replace.

may want to check and make sure its hooked up to transmission and back of gauge cluster before spending money on a new one.

Mine is a 95 and I have a cable so I'm thinking so does 1994.

Really not a tough swap job... if you YouTube it first!
