91' oil pressure and temp spiking, losing power while accelerating
Hey guys, this is my first post here and unfortunately it's a rough one for me.
I have an automatic 91 that has been great for about 3 months.
This morning while leaving for work as soon as I pulled out into the street my temp and oil pressure spiked and I was losing power while trying to accelerate in second gear. (When I say power I mean it would stop accelerating) For about 5-10 seconds then would accelerate for a moment, then do the same thing. Once I was sitting in third and just keeping around 2500 Rpms it wouldn't lose acceleration, but when slowing down then trying to speed up it would do the same.
The temp and oil pressure fluctuated frequently. Going from normal to running max to a little under back to max.
I've got a lifter tick.
There is a slow oil leak from the valve cover gasket. When I replaced the crank shaft sensor I didn't replace the seal (regret)
I checked my oil after all this happened and it was almost out. I check it fairly often but it has been a second. Put more oil in it and let it idle for awhile and it is still happening.
When key is in the on position, the rpm dial kinda pulses up to like 1000 back to zero in a rhythmic pattern
Things I've done to the car. Replaced the radiator, replaced most of the rubber tubing for the cooling system with silicone, replaced the thermostat . I also replaced the crank shaft sensor as that went bad unfortunately.
Been having intermittent power issues but it's just been the connection to the battery, I've been able to fix that.
Any help would be appreciated
