I have a 1990 all i want to know is how to put a cold air intake into this car. The problem im having is the picture attached what do i do with the air flow meter. Simple answer please! All the other vehicles ive put cold air intakes into didnt have the mass air flow sensor attachment to the intake system. What do i have to do to put a regulare cold air intake into this car. Its only street driven but want the most performance. Please help.

Look up the randall cold air intake. The triditional cold air intake your thinking of is not that effective on these cars.

remove the air box and replace it with a filter. I don't understand how this is difficult???


what are the red wires?

The red wires are trouble. Possibly ebay performance chip (aka resistor) trouble.

OP, if you buy a cheap filter adapter (I have one I can ship you), and a 180* 2.5"(???) pipe, you can place a small filter behind the headlight. Double check that piping size. It should look like this:

The red wires are a performance chip from ebay lol. You turn the **** one way for power and the other way for gas saving but im pretty sure it dont work.

Wait. So you mean to tell me that a 15 cent potentiometer from radio shack is not an effective way to add 25+ hp???
