Larini Sport exhaust back box (extremely rare!!)
Dear miata enthusiasts,
I am putting up for sale my beloved Larini Sport exhaust (muffler only).
If you are reading this, you know how rare and special this piece of stainless steel is. It was discontinued by the company in 2008, since they are now focusing on exotics like Pagani, Lamborghini, McLaren and the like.
Here is an audio recording of it (with stock mid section):
Why am I selling it? Because I now have upgraded the center pipe, on top of the free flowing 4-1 header, and the sound volume is simply unreasonable. The quality of the sound is superb. But the quantity is (for me) unbearable... and a cop magnet.
This muffler is perfect for those who wish to fit it onto a bare-bones stock MX5. I have added baffles that keep things in control, with minor compromises on the quality of the sound below 3000rpm.
I can tell you that when fitted on a fully upgraded exhaust system like mine, it sounds incredible. When manouvering people will turn around looking for a V8. When downshifting people will turn around looking for a Ferrari. It's just spectacular.
It has run for less than 1000Km. In mint condition. I sell it for 450 Euros plus shipping costs (what I payed for it second hand myself). One of the tips came off and is now scratched, but I am in the process of having it replaced by Larini themselves.

Hi guys, sorry for the delayed response.
Yes I still have it, and I am very uncertain whether to sell it or not.
Meaning: I really love it when I drive fast, but I don't happen to drive fast often anymore.
On the other hand, I have no idea how much it might be valued today, also given the amount of use, I had it on for 4 years now.
