FS: OEM Bridgestone potenza REO50 A 205/45/17
I just bought a 2010 Miata and was lucky enough to have bought it off of a 60 year old lady who hardly ever drove the car. I am going to be autocrossing the car and just bought new tires and wanted to see if anyone is interested in the original OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE050 A tires in size 205/45/17 that came off of the car. The car just tuned over 6,000 miles and all of these were easy miles. The tread depth is between 8 and 9/32nds on all tires. Asking $150.00 plus buyer pays shipping. If you are local to PA, we may be able to meet to avoid shipping. I have attached photos for you to see. Either PM or e-mail me if interested. Thanks.

those actually pretty nice autocross tires...but GLWS should do nice for any miata really.
I think these were the tires that originally came on the 1st gen. MS3.

Yes, they are not too bad for the small size. I just had michelin pilot super sports put on tonight and the car re-aligned. The 205's were just too narrow. I was going to go with the Star Specs. I had them on my BMW, but they got greasy when hot. They were fabulous in the cold and dry though. This season is test and tune until I figure out if I am going C-stock with slicks or STR. These will make someone happy with a good tire at a decent price. Thanks for your imput.

ohhh wait, these are for 17s!!! yes get off them quickly, you want to run 15s for autocross or even smaller.
Star specs are great, AD08s are even better imho. I am not an autocrosser, but I certainly felt a response difference out of the AD08s...I also noticed I had some more traction, particularly in the braking area, but that could be due to other things.
can't go wrong with the star specs though...I will say greasy when hot is pretty much all the tires, just some can't handle the heat as well (like 615s for example).
I think this would do very well on a mazdaspeed miata since many of those guys may keep the nice looking stock wheels.
BTW:
make an intro thread and introduce yourself. We are pretty small but our regulars are very nice and may have some suggestions for your autocrossing plans! Plus you may find a local or two in your area.

Yes. It is a 2010 miata so it is an NC. Anything 2006 and newer is an NC and will have a 17 inch tire option. Sports still come with 16 in, but touring and grand touring come with 17 inch.
