DIY Alignment suggestions
Anyone have any suggestions for doing alignment in the garage? I have the camber/caster gauge and toe plates. Just need to figure out good ways to square up the car and level the garage.
this is a video I recently watched and thought it had some good suggestions btw:

Here's a link to one of the best DIY alignment guides we've seen. It's very detailed but it is complete from leveling the garage to a total alignment and set up. It's by 2 guys in their own garage without a lift and is a great blueprint for anyone, regardless of what you work on. http://tinyurl.com/7237tza

It does show me why the spannertards at Firestone didn't align me the way I want last year. I'll definitely pony up the $300 for a proper corner balance at the race shop this spring.
It's interfering how you have to go recheck all your numbers after each adjustment.

Everything connects to everything else...so if you change camber you change toe and ride height, if you change ride height you change corner balance and on and on and on.
BTW, tires can make Toe repeatability +-10 min, camber +-.5 degrees
You might get a couple of cars together and see if the race shop will give you a group deal on setting up multiple cars. Good luck.
