I HAVE 1995 MIATA WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING..I HAVE BEEN READING ABOUT AN COOL AIR SCOOP.. IT.. ATTACHES TO THE WINDSHIELD.
DO THEY WORK OR NOT??? THANKS

Yes, they work as advertised. But it advertises cooling the *lower half* of your body only. It only works with the top down, because it attaches long the upper part of your windshield. It was made because with the top down, your lap is exposed to the sun, and a lot of Miatas will collect heat directly from the transmission tunnel.

My AC is also broken and now removed. My "AC" is an 89 cent water spritzer that I spray on my face and neck.

Another option that's a bit more expensive and requires some handiwork, is the Project-G Vented Wing Window. I haven't used this specific vent, but they've gotten good reviews.

The wing window device looks like it would work pretty well. I've seen the racing version that uses a duct in that same spot but I think this will catch even more air because it is out in the airstream.

Yeah, it's pretty neat. They had a limited run of hardtop rear windows with similar vents. Combined with the side vents it was supposed to be the bees knees for maximum flow. Anyway, neat ideas can come from the slammed crowd too!
