I need to get back to Chicago. All the fun is going on without me.

Why are you in Texas and when are you coming back?

to kick it off, a lot of it involves deleting the egr & moving the coolant overflow.. i'm wondering if we can remove EGR without throwing codes.. otherwise I won't be able to pull it off because my car still needs to go through emissions unlike your two -____-"

No easy way around the EGR. I know if you leave the EGR valve connected the ECU won't complain (even though the EGR tube is removed and blocked). If you remove the MAP switches, you may get an excessive EGR flow code.

Does Illinois have a time limit on emissions testing? How old does a car have to be before they stop requiring it?

Yeah, but for how long? In Texas, once a car hits a certain age emissions testing is no longer required.
